Body Language and Social Behaviours

Learn to read dogs’ social behaviours via photo and video analysis. This webinar is for you if you want to start reading dog interactions and what dogs are trying to communicate to each other, according to each dog’s motivation and emotional state. 

 

This webinar will take you to a deeper level of comprehension that goes beyond the superficial observation to focus on facial expression, marking behaviours, postures, levels of tension, and so much more. This is where body language breakdowns begin and we’ll practice through video breakdowns of a variety of contexts, from courtship to imposition. 

 

We’ll also analyse individual behaviours across different manifestations and motivations, for example showing belly, tail wag, and eye contact - to discover that they can mean very different things depending on the context. By the end of this session, you’ll see beyond the obvious and start reading the conversation behind the behaviour.
