corrections and social skills

Having a "rude" dog corrected by a more experienced dog is by now standard practice to teach social skills. But does this work and how? Do corrections actually teach a dog empathy and social skills instead of just stopping a dog in the moment?

How do dogs actually teach better social skills to puppies and adults, and how can we make sure we do the same?

This webinar is about explaining corrections, but also deeply understanding what's happening in an interaction, why a dog is "rude" or socially inappropriate, and finding the most effective way to develop your dog's social skills. And corrections might not be the answer.

This is for the nerds that want to see the theory and how this affects dogs' nervous system, as well as practical examples and solutions. As always, we'll take into consideration social approaches instead of conditioning, and include video analysis.
