Freedom, Trust, and Off-leash Skills
All dogs need freedom, yet so few pet dogs can actually access off-leash time.
I’m a firm believer a dog’s off-leash freedom should not depend on the ability of the dog to be “under control” but it also shouldn’t be a problem to others. What I want to achieve, is to give dogs tools to navigate contexts autonomously and regulate their responses when facing challenges, knowing they can receive their owner’s support at any time - including reactive dogs. This requires rethinking the role of the human in the relationship and the direction we want this relationship to take.
In this webinar, through theory and practice, you'll learn how to communicate and build a relationship based on trust instead of treats and obedience, to give your dog the skills they need to navigate freedom safely. To move within the space as a cohesive social group and face challenges together, maintaining a connection that does not rely on the leash.
